Earline Sherman-White was the 5th child born to Henry and Myrtle Sherman on July 21, 1955, in Ventura, CA. She attended Briggs Elementary School in Santa Paula, CA in 1961. Later that same year, the family relocated to Bakersfield, CA when their father passed away.
She attended the following schools:
Potamic Elementary school
Casa Loma Elementary School
Golden State Junior High School
and
South High School; graduated in 1973.
In 1990, she met and later married James White. This union produced one son: Jaron White.
She later on also raised two additional children: Calvin Gentry and Sequoia Gentry
She works for the School District of Kern County from 1973 to 1975. She also worked for city schools in food service, a bus monitor, and also worked for Brocks for 10 years.
She loved people, spending time with her family, and she also loved to sing. She sang with Mount Zion Baptist Choir and the Mass Community Choir.She joined the Greater Harvest Christian Center in 2010 (approximately) where she remained a faithful member until her health started to decline. She truly loved the congregation and the pastor.
