Peggi Jo Williams

On October 7, 1954, Peggi Jo Williams was born in Matador, Texas to parents, Leroy, and Mary Lou Hughes. Peggi was married to Ellis Williams for 33 years. Peggi is survived by her 90-year-old mother, Mary Lou Hughes, and siblings; Sherry Bennett (Kervin); Roy Hughes, Jr. (Carla); Kay Hughes, Ron Hughes (Carolyn) and Ray Hughes (Alice). Her children: Cornell Warren III (Janice), Eric Ginn, Sr (DeShanna), Joy Delouth, Cordell, Shaley, Marque, July, Lilly and Ivory Williams. Along Peggi’s journey in life, she touched the lives of children where she cared for and sat alongside them, sowing her love and compassion for more than 33 years.
Grandchildren: Peggy, Ellen and Cornell Warren, IV; Eric, Jr. and Ericka Ginn, Yanc’unique Scott, Theodore, Jr. and Tyriq Seuell, Brian Whitley III, Mateo Richard, TeNah (Tina) Clemons, Jordan, Royalty Renee and Legacy Williams.
Nieces and Nephews: Tiffany Bennett Ndong Etom, Brittany Bennett Stewart, Whittany Horn, Roy Hughes, James Childs III, Thomas Simmons, Melissa Patton, Angelia Warren, Steven Patton, Pamela Patton, Ron L. Hughes, Jr., Ronneika Hughes Porter, Rodney Hughes, Raquel Ross, Whitney Hughes, Raeisha and Rakeisha Hughes and Niesha Jackson.

Education and career:
Elementary: John C. Fremont, Lincoln Junior High School, Foothill High School. Summitt Bible College obtaining her degree. She was also a Minister at Compassion Christian Center.
Owner and Operator of Heavenly Nails until 2003. 
For over 30 years, she was licensed by the Kern County Department of Human Services. She had a heartfelt passion for being a Care Provider. Within these years, she has natured and cared for more than thirty children.
One of Peggi’s biggest challenges in life is when she discovered she had Multiple Myeloma cancer in 2023, but because of the Grace of God, she had the VICTORY! Giving thanks to the highest God!
